Doing Our Part to Keep the Economy Strong (Part 1)

A new-to-us vehicle:

In case you can't read that, it's a Toyota Highlander Hybrid (2006 model, with all the bells and whistles). It's some sort of gold or copper color that doesn't photograph very well. We bought it a week ago and it seems like a really good vehicle so far. (Priscilla the blue Chevy Impala is going back to the dealer after her lease is up next month. They wanted way too much for us to justify keeping her.)

That looks similar to the color of a Subaru we had. It never looked dirty!

Great car. Next time we come to visit we will have a comfy ride to where ever we go.

Dr. Pion, we had a Volvo of approximately the same hue, and you are right, it never looked dirty.

PhizzleDizzle, we rented a Prius when we took a trip to the Grand Canyon, and loved it. The dashboard info on these babies makes you want to conserve gas just to see the little battery icon power the wheel icons.

Ginger, exactly right. Now we won't be crammed in like sardines around Vinny's carseat. There's a third row in the back that can be set up and used. Jeff's been helping a big family transport themselves around, and he puts their early elementary-aged kids back in that third row.
